19-year-old Melbourne-raised, London-based singer, songwriter and producer Thomas Headon today shares new single and video ‘Focus’, out now via London based artist services company Platoon. Listen/watch HERE
Of the track, Thomas shares: “‘Focus’ to me is the closest I’m ever gonna get to explaining how much I wish I had the attention of the person I was into at the time. The song was written and made really quickly, which is good because I think I know I was being super honest with myself when writing it. I wrote it with a good friend of mine, Stephen Barnes, and at the time the sounds we were using were very different to what I’d done before. But now I’m super glad the song has turned out the way it has, between the lyrics and the sounds it has this real confusing and contrasting vibe to it, it’s weird and it fits everything I’m making now perfectly.”

‘Focus’ follows on from Thomas’ recent double single ‘Loving You’ and ‘I’m Finally In Love’, which have been streamed more than 1 million times to date. Following a premiere on triple j, ‘Loving You’ was added to full rotation at the station and scored 5 star reviews from all of the Unearthed team. Thomas’ EP The Greatest Hits, released in March this year featured the lead single ‘Butterflies’, the video to which features more than 100 fan made short videos within it.
Thomas has received great support across a range of playlists from Apple Music (New Music Daily, Breaking Pop, Mellow Days) and Spotify (New Music Friday, Lorem, Indie Arrivals & Front Left) and has amassed more than 14 million streams across all platforms to date.
Thomas’ new single ‘Focus’ is out now via Platoon. Stay tuned for more new music, coming soon.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
