Rising singer, songwriter and producer Thomas Headon today reveals his new single ‘UrbanAngel1999’ and its accompanying video, directed by Thomas himself. The track is available now via London based artist services company Platoon and follows on from recent singles ‘Focus’ and ‘Loving You’, released earlier this year. Listen/Watch HERE
Of the release, Thomas shares: “‘UrbanAngel1999’ is something stylistically that I’ve wanted to create for a long time. It’s a story about a one sided, online relationship. A lot of the songs I’ve released recently are all attention based, or more lack of. Urban Angel is exactly that but more once you’ve established the relationship with someone and it starts to go downhill. I’m not usually a story-songwriter, but this came out of me really quickly and I’m super happy with it”.

Thomas has received support across a range of playlists from Apple Music (New Music Daily, Breaking Pop, Mellow Days) and Spotify (New Music Friday, Lorem, Indie Arrivals & Front Left) and has amassed more than 14 million streams across all platforms to date. His recent track ‘Loving You’ premiered on triple j and was added to full rotation at the station after scoring 5 star reviews from all of the Unearthed team. He was also named triple j Unearthed’s Feature Artist last month, read the interview here.
Twenty-year-old Thomas was born in London, before his family moved to Melbourne when he was five. As a teenager, he started posting covers on YouTube which have helped him to build a dedicated, international fan base.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
