Indie-Con, Australia’s leading independent music industry conference is back and will be held as an online event on Thursday 1st October and Friday 2nd October, thanks to support from the South Australian Government.
Empowering attendees with insights and knowledge, this year’s program will explore LIVESTREAMING, RELEASING MUSIC IN LOCKDOWN, MAXIMISING REVENUE STREAMS, INTERNATIONAL PATHWAYS FOR LABELS, NEW WAVE A & R, MUSIC AS PART OF DEVELOPING GAMING AND TECHNOLOGY, as well as discuss DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION POLICIES FOR LABELS and CODES OF CONDUCT to continue discussions to help improve the industry for all.
The conference is FREE for AIR members, trade association members of the worldwide independent network (WIN) and members of other Australian music industry bodies. Non-members can also attend at special price of $49

The 2020 AIR Awards will also be held on the evening of Thursday 1st October to celebrate the success of the Australian Independent music sector as a one-hour special broadcast on YouTube from 8pm ACST– to watch subscribe to our YouTube page here.
Minister for Innovation and Skills David Pisoni said the 2020 Indie-Con Conference is an opportunity for the music industry to have important conversations about the global issues COVID-19 has presented and navigate opportunities for growth.
“The South Australian Government is proud to be a major supporter of Indie-Con and while this year’s conference is virtual, we look forward to welcoming AIR and the independent music sector back to Adelaide next year,” Minister Pisoni said.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
