Two-time GRAMMY Award-nominated multiplatinum songstress Kelsea Ballerini has released her new album ballerini (Black River Entertainment/The Orchard Australia). The album follows the singer’s March 2020 release, kelsea. That collection presented a set of arena ready pop-country songs tailor made for live shows and was released the week the world shut down in March. While under quarantine, Kelsea created the second half of that story, ballerini. She carefully deconstructed each song and re-recorded everything with minimal accompaniment and co-produced this new album with friend and collaborator Jimmy Robbins. Kelsea shows yet another side of herself with this reimagined take on the entire album. The delicate sonics highlight the lyrical power of the record as she has stripped all of the songs down to the bare essentials. Last week, Kelsea unveiled the first song off of ballerini, ‘club (ballerini album version) ’, and her current single ‘hole in the bottle’ is climbing at US Country Radio.

Of the album Kelsea Ballerini said: “kelsea is glitter: bold and effervescent and dreams that are boundless. She’s who I want to be. While ballerini is emotional, vulnerable, soft: observes her surroundings and chooses her words carefully. She’s who I am. The album ballerini is the result of the wonder and gets down to the heart of it. Introducing ballerini…the other side of the same story.”
Following the release of ballerini, Kelsea is set to perform at the ACM Awards, airing on September 16th, where she is nominated for ‘Female Artist of the Year’. She is also scheduled to perform on The Late Late Show with James Corden on September 14th.

About KELSEA BALLERINI
Kelsea Ballerini has consistently made history, becoming the only female country artist to hit number one with her first three consecutive singles from a debut album, attainting her fifth number one in four years with the platinum ‘Miss Me More.’ Her debut and sophomore albums were both certified gold, and she has a career total of nine gold and platinum singles certifications and total streams exceeding 2 billion to date. Additionally, she was welcomed as the Grand Ole Opry’s youngest current member. Her critically acclaimed sophomore album UNAPOLOGETICALLY (Black River Entertainment/The Orchard Australia) marked her second Top 5 debut on the Billboard Top 200. Ballerini has garnered two GRAMMY® Award nominations, won two ACM Awards, and took home the iHeartRadio Music Awards honor for ‘Best New Artist.’ In 2019, Ballerini received a CMA nomination for ‘Female Vocalist of the Year’ and an American Music Award nomination for ‘Female Artist Country.’ Most recently, she received an ACM nomination for ‘Female Artist of the Year.’ In addition to touring alongside everyone from Kelly Clarkson to Keith Urban, she ascended to the status of arena headliner with her 2019 the Miss Me More Tour.
This all paved the way for Kelsea’s self-titled third full-length album, which was released on March 20, 2020. Her most personal effort yet, the album was met with critical praise including by NPR who said, “Kelsea Ballerini is definitely one of the most influential women in country right now… she’s defining the sound of the genre.” The debut single from the album, ‘Homecoming Queen?’, recently was certified US platinum, marking her fastest single to achieve this milestone yet.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
