Following on from his collaboration with BOI, ‘Houdini’, Melbourne’s ALIUS delivers ‘Almost There’, a punchy, addictive anthem about pushing yourself to the next level. The pulsating beat ticks along as Swedish vocalist CILVR sings lyrics that ring true for anyone who’s ever set their mind to a goal and worked for it.
As ALIUS puts it, “Almost There’ is a story of knowing your destination in life and getting that feeling that you have nearly made it past the finish line. It’s about going through the journey and seeing how far you have come, understanding the reasons why you go through it and the lessons learnt along the way.”
For ALIUS, the mission is pop music with depth. Melbourne’s Sebastian Ivanov crafts songs that blend uplifting melodies and razor-sharp production with lyrics written straight from the heart: no matter the beat, no matter the sound, his music is real, relatable and honest.
A lifelong musician, Ivanov is a talented triple-threat who produces, songwrites and sings. After a few busy years of pouring himself into song, his solo project ALIUS is hitting all the right notes. Original tracks like ‘Caught Up’, ‘Fraction’ and ‘Impossible To Love You’ have already clocked up over 35 million streams on Spotify alone, while his remake of the Dawson’s Creek theme song ‘I Don’t Wanna Wait’ was picked for the Ministry of Sound Summer Anthems release, spending several weeks in the top 10 of the iTunes charts.
After coming back from a songwriting stint in Sweden, ALIUS is back home and ready to step out of the studio and onto the stage.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
