Vocalist Tommy Vext talks about “Learn to Walk Again”: “This song embodies the spirit of human resilience. The lyrics were written around when I was approaching my decade of sobriety mark and was reflecting heavily on how much my life had changed. The title stems from a poem I wrote when I was hospitalized in 2010 after almost losing my life. On September 12, 2020 almost ten years to the date of my attempted murder, two Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department officers were shot in Compton in an ambushed assassination attempt. After being shot in the neck and face the officer managed to give each other aid and stay alive while backup and end arrived on scene.
LASD Officer Katie Garcia nominated the courageous surviving officers and the band unanimously knew we had to include their bravery in our learn to walk again challenge. It has been an honor for us to give back if even just a little to those who so bravely serve our communities. We know that nothing can compare to the sacrifice so many put on the line everyday to keep our communities safe. And in the spirit of generosity we are wishing ALL a safe and happy holiday season this year as we all heal from this year and move forward onto better days ahead.”

Additionally, Bad Wolves are also announcing the winners of their #learntowalkagain campaign. With support from Once Upon A Coconut & Huntington Beach Toyota, the focus is on helping their fans who are in need. The campaign grew to enable the band to give away $4500 each to five lucky winners.
Fans entered the contest by posting their personal story along with #learntowalkagain on social media. Throughout the weeks following the announcement of the contest, Bad Wolves highlighted some of their fans’ videos on their official Instagram and will release webisodes with winners in the coming weeks.
The dual announcement of the contest and the acoustic version of the song comes after the recently released music video for the original version of “Learn To Walk Again” from their second album, N.A.T.I.O.N., received over 515K views on YouTube and the track received over 6.2 Million streams on Spotify.

Bad Wolves consists of vocalist Tommy Vext (ex-Divine Heresy), drummer John Boecklin (ex-Devildriver), guitarist Doc Coyle (ex-God Forbid), guitarist Chris Cain (Bury Your Dead), and bassist Kyle Konkiel (ex-In This Moment). They released their debut album, Disobey (May 2018), via Better Noise Music, which reached #22 on the Billboard Top 200, #2 on the Hard Rock Chart, #4 on Rock, and #8 on the Top Current Albums Chart. In 2019, they continued that momentum with their sophomore album, N.A.T.I.O.N. The stunning 12-track follow-up to their debut album, Disobey, is a bit of a departure – staying in the same realm musically, but breaking beyond. N.A.T.I.O.N. came in at #1 upon its release on the Top Hard Rock, Current Hard Rock and Billboard Hard Rock charts.
N.A.T.I.O.N. is out now! HERE

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
