Accumulating more than 1 Billion streams for global chart-topping, pop-infused and self-composed electronic singles Kadebostany’s unique pop brand has dominated the Top 10 in 30 countries with three singles – “Early Morning Dreams” (50M streams), “Castle in the Snow” (20M streams) and “Mind if I Stay” (15M streams) – alongside a 2013 cover of Beyoncé’s “Crazy in Love (50M streams) which reached masses with its controversial “50 Shades of Grey” soundtrack cameo.
A project conceptualized around a visual universe – The Republic of Kadebostany. It is the brainchild of DJ/producer/composer Guillaume de Kadebostany aka President Kadebostan. “Take Me to the Moon” is the first offering from the relentless innovator’s forthcoming “DRAMA—Act2” EP, a unique theatrical atmosphere slated to arrive later this year, and the sequel to the much acclaimed “DRAMA—Act1” released in 2020.
Kadebostany draws a modern vision of pop music, best described by its leader as “sophisticated music with mass appeal”. The act transcends senses, seducing through its sphere of visual identity and colossal live performances. Pre-pandemic, Kadebostany played over 500 live shows in more than 25 countries, touring 70-100 international appearances per year, including international festivals such as Sziget, Chill Out, Fusion, Montreux Jazz Festival, Dour, among others. Kadebostany also performed as a guest star on the X-Factor as well as the Dancing with the Stars finals, headlined FIFA’s closing ceremony, appeared at the NRJ music Awards and played for up a 120,000 person crowd.
Kadebostany has also achieved sync breakthroughs. “Castle in the Snow” is highlighted on the ‘official playlist of music played on the moon’ and other tracks have been placed in advertisements for PlayStation, Vodafone, and in various films including French blockbuster “L’Etudiante et Monsieur Henri.”
