To ensure the final Melbourne show of Summer Sounds Festival goes off with a BANG on Thursday 8 April, the event has added fierce rock’n’roll trio, Cable Ties, to the lineup!

SPIDERBAIT + JEBEDIAH + BODYJAR + CABLE TIES
Cable Ties released their second album, Far Enough, in March 2020. The record took out Best Rock/Punk Album at the 2020 Music Victoria Awards and put the band on the radar of Rolling Stone US, Grammy.com and NPR internationally.
The post-punk outfit will be joining Aussie rock legends Spiderbait, Jebediah and Bodyjar for one heaving night of live music. Shazam! What a way to close out the Melbourne leg of the Summer Sounds Festival series!
And that’s not all, following the recent advice from the Department of Health, patrons will be able to move about the show more freely with guests now able to purchase an Individual Lawn General Admission ticket to the show on Thursday 8 April from just $69.90.
All Decks will remain in place on the Lawn. If you have previously purchased a Lawn Deck for you and your mates, it will be ‘Reserved’ for you to use at your leisure. Remaining Decks will be ‘Unreserved’ for the new General Admission punters to access as they please – you really can have your pod and eat it too!
