With the first. SUMMER(ish) SOUNDS BRISBANE show kicking off this Friday with King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Tropical F Storm and The Murlocs taking to the stage, the festival is making a weekend of it by adding two Spacey Jane shows to the lineup! The band will be joined at the iconic Riverstage by Jess Day and The Moving Stills on Saturday 24 & Sunday 25 April. What an opening weekend!

These dates take the place of Spacey Jane’s originally scheduled and sold out Brisbane shows at The Fortitude Music Hall and come with an extra allocation of tickets for both nights. So for the many fans that missed out on the original shows, now is your time to shine! Tickets are available from 2pm AEST today via summersoundsfestival.com. Be quick!

All tickets purchased for ANY Spacey Jane shows at The Fortitude Music Hall are valid for its Summer(ish) Sounds Festival counterpart so keep an eye out for an email or text from Ticketmaster if that’s you.

We can’t wait to catch Spacey Jane as they bring their epic debut album Sunlight to life at Summer(ish) Sounds Festival Brisbane. We can already hear the crowd singing along to Booster Seat, the single that took out #2 in triple j’s Hottest 100. Their shows at Summer Sounds Adelaide and Summer Sounds Melbourne were nothing short of incredible so get ready for your turn Brisbane!

Spacey Jane will be joined by good friend Jess Day, with her insanely catchy tunes. Day is reminiscent of the girl grunge of the late 90s mixed with the optimism of modern indie-pop. Don’t miss it as she takes to the stage this Saturday & Sunday! The Moving Stills will also be joining the lineup, wading through surf flavours and pop classicism, with beats and grooves that ride the lip of indie-dance and melodies that stick around. Summer(ish) Sounds Brisbane opening weekend just got even more massive!

This news follows Summer(ish) Sound’s second lineup announcement with some huge acts added to the festival just last week…
