Adelaide based producer and self proclaimed hellraiser, Godlands has today given us a banging taste of what’s to come from her forthcoming EP in the form of new single, ‘My Weakness’ ft BRUX. On the track Godlands has teamed up with fellow Aussie musical alumni including BRUX (the project of Elizabeth Rose) and The Kite String Tangle, who co-wrote the single.  Godlands is also thrilled to announce she’ll be releasing her brand new five track EP TY4R (Thank You 4 Raging) on 4 June as well as touring across the country this June and July, tickets available HERE.

Godlands says of the track, “My Weakness was a really strong instrumental but I wanted to elevate it with a vocalist. With the help of The Kite String Tangle and BRUX we ended up with a solid top line. it’s nice to be able to work with fellow Aussies on a track, keeping it homegrown adds a nice element to the story.”  Feature artist on the singleBRUXdescribes how the collaboration came to be “Working with the talents of Godlands and The Kite String Tangle was a treat – it started with a reach out on Instagram and through collaboration across 3 time zones came this blissful creation!”.

Godlands second EP TY4R (Thank You 4 Raging), out 4 June will feature five tracks in total including previous single ‘Out My Face’ as well as three new tracks including a team up with fellow Adelaidians EAST AV3 on a single titled ‘Middle Man’.

A stalwart of the Adelaide club scene, Godlands quickly picked up gigs as one of the few female DJ’s working in the city.  Her talent was soon recognised and after a stint in LA she ended up signing to Steve Aoki’s label Dim Mak.  One of her biggest career highlights to date was being booked as support on Steve Aoki’s Neon Future IV: The Color of Noise Tour last year, which was unfortunately cancelled due to Covid.

Godlands has since received Spotify playlist support including New Music Friday AU and NZ, Bass Arcade, Friday Cratediggers, Workout Beats and New Dance Beats plus Apple Music playlist support including New Music Daily and Heavy Hitters for previous singles Drop It Low (feat. Yung Bambi), Smoke Em Up (feat. SAMPLEGOD) and Hellraiser with Blanke. These previous singles received a wide range of praise from outlets such as Triple J Unearthed, YourEDM, Run The Trap and Future Mag Music marking Godlands firmly on the electronic music map.  

Her debut EP 4 U ONLY was released last year to praise by a plethora of media including Complex, Mixmag The Music AU, Purple Sneakers and Pilerats.  Strap yourself in for the next electronic roller coaster ride from Godlands in 2021.
