Ahead of the release of their highly anticipated new album ‘Scaled And Icy’ due out on May 21st, GRAMMY® Award winning duo Twenty One Pilots have today announced a world-first experience for fans with the plans of a pop-up shop set for Sydney next Saturday 22nd May.
The band’s first-ever Twenty One Pilots pop-up shop is set to all go down at The Camperdown Studios (29 Australia Street, Camperdown) on Saturday, May 22nd, kicking off from 12.30pm until 5pm offering fans access to exclusive merch only available at the pop-up shop, never-before-seen Twenty One Pilots art, hang with the DJ and be a part of an immersive interactive experience.
Fans can also gain early access to the pop-up shop by entering the pre-save competition. with 50 lucky competition winners winning access to watch an exclusive immersive livestream of the band inside the world of Scaled And Icy and gain access to exclusive merch before the general public.

The pop-up comes a day after the release of ‘Scaled and Icy’, written and largely produced by Joseph in isolation over the course of the past year at his home studio, with Dun engineering the album’s drums from across the country. ‘Scaled And Icy’ is the product of long-distance virtual sessions and finds the duo processing their upended routines along with the prevailing emotions of 2020 – anxiety, loneliness, boredom, and doubt. The duo had to forgo their normal studio sessions but reached a new of level of introspection in the process, adopting a more imaginative and bold approach to their song writing. The result is a collection of songs that push forward through setbacks and focus on the possibilities worth remembering.
