Association of Artist Managers
announces return of its
Co-Pilot program
in new partnership with Spotify

.

The Association of Artist Managers (AAM) is thrilled to announce the return of its flagship professional development program, Co-Pilot in an exciting new partnership with Spotify.

The Co-Pilot program was initiated in 2014 and aims to support, develop and enhance the business capabilities of emerging artist managers by pairing them with established and successful managers for an intensive six month mentorship. An online component of the mentorship covers areas such as Growth Mindset, digital management strategies (including a tailored Spotify workshop) and a module on business models and development.

Past participants (who include Kate Adams, Uadaravi Widapathirana and Danae Effern) report a very high level of satisfaction with the program, with 100% of participants saying they would recommend Co-Pilot to their peers.

Cath Haridy, Executive Director of the AAM says: “An ever-evolving industry landscape and COVID-19 has left managers with the difficult task of pivoting and updating their businesses and the businesses of the artists they work with.  We are so pleased to be partnering with Spotify to present our national mentoring program as a way of supporting our members through this time. We hope this is the first of many opportunities for us to work together to support managers meaningfully through peer to peer learning and bursaries to support their businesses.”

Alicia Sbrugnera, Head of Music, Spotify AUNZ shares: “We are proud to play our part in supporting emerging artist managers in partnership with the AAM. At Spotify, we remain committed to supporting our community during this difficult time and the Co-Pilot program is an invaluable opportunity for us to come together with the AAM to support managers, ensuring as an industry we continue to move forward.”

The Co-Pilot program is available to all  members of the AAM. For details on how to apply, please head to: https://www.aam.org.au/co-pilot-2021 | Application form HERE
