Additional upcoming events include:

The Veronicas – Pop superstars The Veronicas will celebrate their two brand new albums Godzilla and Human and national tour with a streamed concert in July, with further details to be announced.

The Chats – The Sunshine Coast shed rock band has achieved cult-like status for their unique take on everyday Australia!  As their tour dates continue to roll out, the band will stream their Sydney show, filmed at The Roundhouse, later in July.

Cosmic Psychos – The irreverent rockers will make a welcome return to the live scene later this year and are set to release their epic new album, Mountain of Piss, featuring new single/video Sin Bin, on July 9. They will treat global audiences to a streamed gig in July – details to follow.

Hoodoo Gurus – The band is back in the spotlight with a massive national tour lined up for December this year to celebrate their 40th anniversary. With a new album in the works, Hoodoo Gurus are planning a streamed event for October – fans should standby for more information.

Curating eMusic’s Australian livestream events are respected music executives: Danny Keenan, who has held senior roles at Foxtel, Albert Music and Warner Music. Hilton Rosenthal, producer best known for his work with Paul Simon, Carole King, Hans Zimmer, Johnny Clegg, Foreigner and more, and Hylton Chilchik who is heading up tech production and operations of eMusic Live in Australia.

Tamir Koch, eMusic President and 7digital Chairman said, “We are very excited about the Australian market and the wonderful acts our great team has assembled and look forward to working with further exciting artists. Our live streaming platform, eMusic Live, allows artists the opportunity to engage with fans in new ways and to bring a global audience to their shows. eMusic Live strives to provide the most advanced commercial features to support live shows including in-platform promotional opportunities and VIP experiences, so artists can continue to engage with their devoted and enthusiastic fans.”

Danny Keenan said, “The interruption to Australian musicians reaching and engaging with their global fanbases has certainly hindered momentum and commercial opportunities. As touring remains restricted, I am thrilled that eMusic Live can work with such diverse artists to enable them to reach their eager international fans. eMusic Live not only helps artists reach their overseas fans but will become an ongoing and meaningful platform to sell additional tickets to domestic fans who are unable to see their favourite artists in person.”
