Armed with her ARIA #1 Cry Forever album, Amy Shark kicked off her Cry Forever national tour with a sold out show at Newcastle Entertainment Centre last night. Next up is  Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena tonight with final tickets available now from www.amyshark.com.  One of the first arena tours globally since COVID-19 struck last year, the tour will then move on to Wrest Point Lawns in Tasmania and HOTA on the Gold Coast to play sold out shows, before taking to Riverstage in Brisbane, Adelaide Entertainment Centre Theatre (sold out) and RAC Arena in Perth on July 3.

Due to the evolving COVID-19 circumstances in Melbourne, Amy Shark’s Rod Laver Arena show on June 18 has been rescheduled to Saturday September 4 2021.  All tickets purchased for the original date will be honoured for the rescheduled date, without need for exchange.

“Unfortunately I have to reschedule the Melbourne show of my Cry Forever tour due to the current situation happening with COVID,” explains Amy. “Now is the time to stay safe and take care of each other, our friends and our family. As much as it breaks my heart to do this, the health and safety of my fans and team comes first. All I can say is when we do all come together – it is going to be extra special. Thank you for understanding.”

In order to deliver for her fans and do whatever it takes for the Hobart leg of the tour to go ahead and to comply with the current COVID-19 event restrictions in Tasmania, Amy will be required to perform two very special shows on the same date – Saturday June 19.

The Cry Forever tour will be Amy Shark’s most extraordinary live undertaking yet in some of the largest venues Australia has to offer, delivering a brand new show with A1 production and musicianship that is set to bring her new album to life. Armed with 13 new tracks from her ARIA #1 Cry Forever album and some impressive ARIA wins (including ‘Best Australian Live Act’ which she picked up for her last tour, along with ‘Best Pop Release’ for ‘Everybody Rise’), the Gold Coast local is no stranger to the big stage and sure knows how to put on an impressive show, and with support from exciting newcomers Evie Irie and Teenage Joans – this is a tour not to be missed.

Tickets to the CRY FOREVER tour are on sale now from www.amyshark.com

The tour will be held with a commitment to a COVID-safe environment.  TEG LIVE will work closely with and comply with all requirements of the public health authorities in respect of these shows.
