Splendour in the Grass is thrilled to announce that your favourite Aussie festival is heading to the Harbour City! SPLENDOUR IN THE CITY will pop up at Sydney’s Overseas Passenger Terminal from Saturday 10 to Sunday 18 July.

Supported by the NSW Government, Splendour in the City will offer Sydneysiders and visitors a tantalising, nine-day long taste of Splendour goodness with over 20 artists across two rooms, the Comedy Club, long table dining, specialty bars including The Strummer Bar and The Winery, art installations, markets, Little Splendour kid’s program, a Freak VR room pop up and more.

While all events in the Customs and Cargo Halls are ticketed with all proceeds going to the artists, entry to the general event area is free so patrons can drop by on a whim for dinner or drinks during the nine day pop up.

Splendour in the City’s 900 capacity Customs Hall and 400 capacity Cargo Hall are set to host a bunch of Australia’s biggest and brightest home-grown talent in a rare intimate setting including….

Keen to grab a meal before the gig? Or maybe just drop in after work for a drink and a snack? Splendour in the City will offer a variety of dining options including long table dining alongside a carefully curated selection of food trucks and market stalls.

Ever dreamt about going backstage at Splendour? Splendour in the City is bringing the backstage vibes to Sydney, lovingly recreating the artist’s Strummer Bar alongside a number of the festivals favourite watering holes including the Palm Springs inspired The Winery, Tiny Tinder Bar and more.

If you’re in the market for something a little more wholesome and kid-friendly then Splendour in the City has that covered too! Splendour in the Grass’ legendary kids’ area Little Splendour will offer a mix of live entertainment and activities for the littlest festival fans on weekends.

Plus stay tuned for news about Splendour in the City’s Arts Program and Freak VR pop up where you can get a sneak preview of the Splendour XR world before the online event.

NSW Minister for Jobs, Investment, Tourism and Western Sydney Stuart Ayres said the event would be hugely popular among Sydneysiders and visitors.

“Splendour in the City will reinforce why Sydney is the greatest city in the world – we’re open for business and we’re enjoying COVID-safe live entertainment against the most spectacular backdrop of Sydney Harbour,” Mr Ayres said.
