“You can hear Nashville’s influence on the artist’s sound as he inspires sadness as quickly as he spits bars.” – MTV NEWS
“Playing out like a deeply personal farewell note, the Nashville-based artist is dexterous, switching effortlessly between rapping and crooning over the song’s country-inspired production.” – THE FADER
“An artist who has immediately won over our attention” – PIGEONS AND PLANES

Today Nashville-based singer, songwriter, producer and rapper Terry Presume shares his insatiable new single ‘None Of This Alone’, which aired earlier today on Matt Wilkinson’s Apple Music show. ‘None of This Alone’ is accompanied by a lively and animated lyric video. Part of a collaboration between Terry and one of his longtime friends, the video was made in and around Chinatown, Los Angeles, and serves a straight shot into Terry’s world.
Alongside he announces his forthcoming EP ‘What Box?’, which features ‘None of This Alone’ and previous single ‘Zaza and Some Runtz (Smoke Break)’, out July 29th via September Recordings. The release is a collection of tracks unrestricted by genres that showcase his undeniable ability to master any sonic domain and make it completely his own. ‘What Box?’ explores deeply universal emotions and pushes up against social norms with an impact that forges new spaces for people who don’t quite fit into existing molds. The result is extraordinary.

Born in Naples, Florida and raised in a neighbourhood called Golden Gate by a Haitian single mother, Terry has overcome more than most with music providing a source of survival and healing. He grew up surrounded by Haitian Kompa music that his mother played for him and the sounds of 50 Cent, Eminem and classic R&B that lined his community. At just 8 years old and a deeply shy kid, Terry wrote his first poem, and by the age of 11 he taught himself to write and produce music – both of which he excelled in and used as a medium to navigate the different cultures and worlds that he straddled.
Following a tumultuous escape to Los Angeles with nothing but a dream of “success” and $200 in his pocket, he ultimately doubled down on his music and his own sense of self, resulting in a body of work that is led by his emotions and lived experiences – not genres. Terry bares every facet of himself with an unquantifiable depth and gratitude, honouring his pain, sorrow, heartbreak and newfound enlightenment, unlike what is often seen in music today.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
