Today Jungle build upon the phenomenal impact made by their huge singles ‘Keep Moving’ and ‘Talk About It’ by sharing their brand new single ‘Romeo’. It represents a landmark moment in the Jungle story, as it includes their first ever official feature courtesy of New York rapper and Dreamville artist Bas. It comes as the iconic production duo add a new chapter to a career that has achieved a billion streams, two Top 10 albums, 750,000 album sales and a Mercury Prize nomination, with the 13 August release of their new album Loving In Stereo.
Jungle – life-long friends J and T – approached the making of Loving In Stereo with an open-minded embrace of everything new. So when they struck up a friendship with Bas when they shared the bill at New York’s Greatest Day Ever festival, it was only natural that a collaboration would follow. Several months later he joined the duo’s free spirited sessions at The Church in London, where the charismatic, old school hip-hop track ‘Romeo’ emerged.
J commented, “We’d never had a featured artist on a record before but Bas is part of the journey of this album and so it just had to make the cut.”

Bas added, “Worlds colliding. I’ve always been on a mission to work with artists who’s sounds and worlds inspire me beyond rap’s sonic landscape. Jungle been high on that list since a recommendation from a friend when I was in London bout 7 years ago. Was and still am completely blown away by their music. Fast forward to The Greatest Day Ever Festival a few years back, our dressing rooms were down the hall from each other, and I was BIG LIT off tequila so the voice in my head was like “GO IN THERE N TELL THEM HOW DOPE THEY ARE “. I burst in there like the Kool Aid man and did just that. We linked back up in London and now we got a tuuune. I guess the moral of the story is listen to the tequila voice in your head?”
The accompanying video for ‘Romeo’ was again directed by JFC Productions (J Lloyd and Charlie Di Placido), with choreography from Nathaniel Williams. Using the same dancers who featured in Jungle’s previous two videos, the team have captured the physicality and startling movement that have become essential hallmarks of Jungle’s visual aesthetic.
As we’ve seen from ‘Keep Moving’ and ‘Talk About It’, the world is embracing the new supercharged version of Jungle. Both tracks have earned playlists at Radio 1 after being highlighted as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record, while further playlists have come from Radio 2 and 6 Music. They have also made a huge international impact at streaming platforms with a billion streams to date and countless New Music Friday and New Music Daily adds.

These three songs have generated huge anticipation for Loving In Stereo. And it’s easy to see why. The album resonates with dynamic disco decadence for the post-social distancing age, with a life-affirming, dancefloor-igniting, sun-kissed celebration of all the things that make music irresistibly fun. Propelled by the pulse-raising rush of pushing the BPM through the ceiling, it finds Jungle going back to their roots, making music for the sheer enjoyment of it and following their instincts.
Loving In Stereo album is available to pre-order here, and is available on digital, CD, black vinyl, marbled vinyl and cassette formats. A selection of bundles are also available, which include signed items and new merch designs.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
