Argentine songwriter, singer, rapper, Nathy Peluso (@NathyPeluso) delivers a provoking and bossed up new single/video “Mafiosa,” that continues to empower women to flip the male gaze — “It takes guts to devour me… It takes a real body to handle me…” she asserts.
The new salsa-jolted music video WATCH HERE was filmed in the streets of Madrid, where Nathy is currently on an extensive sold-out tour across the country. In the official visual, the viewer watches Nathy debut several strong female personas taking ownership of power in her community, decked in fits from Dior, VETEMENTS, Balenciaga, Versace, and more — and the lyrics are likened to being a part of the “mafiosa” read them here! Permeating the fashion community through international editorial cover story looks, from Glamour Mexico, to King Kong, Rolling Stone Argentina to Galore, and more; influential IG @diet_prada soundtracked their Jacquemus show recap in Paris to Nathy Peluso’s “Celebre.”
“Mafiosa” follows the Argentinian, Barcelona-based artist’s bold and breakthrough debut album ‘Calambre,’ which was released the same week as she received two Latin Grammys nominations, and showcases her genre versatility. Her previous single “Delito” has accumulated over 85 million streams and has brought on fans from across the globe, including Cardi B (who sang the song on Instagram and garnered 18 Million views of it), a track that also shares a theme of female empowerment. Peluso released an official live performance of her single “Delito” on Stephen Colbert’s #PlayAtHome series. Also, her “Bzrp Music Sessions Vol. 36” collaboration went viral earlier this year and now has accumulated over 375 million total streams.

Nathy Peluso aims to provoke. On her bold debut ‘Calambre,’ the Barcelona-based, Argentine-born performer, explores sharp hip hop, sleek retro R&B, even a modern take on old-school salsa. Nathy Peluso thrives at creating characters and easily code switching between styles, genres and languages. Visceral and vulnerable, sexy yet nonconforming, onstage and online, Nathy’s passion and unique sensibilities are charming fans all over the world. Watch Nathy perform the R&B jam “Buenos Aires,” as part of the SXSW 2021 virtual conference.
Nathy’s acclaimed debut album ‘Calambre’ was profiled in The New York Times. The Guardian spotlighted her as “One To Watch”: “Argentinian singer with a huge social media following embraces traditional Latin sounds, rap and R&B.”
The FADER wrote, “The album is full of bright spots… ‘Sugga’ has horn arrangements by longtime Prince collaborator Michael B. Nelson, and ‘Llamame’ is totally smoothed-out.” CLASH said “Nathy Peluso Is Unstoppable. Meet the Latin pop revolutionary walking her own path…”

AMNPLIFY – DBA
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
