Melbourne superstar on the rise ASHWARYA, has today shared her latest single, the haunting ballad ‘LOVE AGAIN’ alongside a moving, one shot visual.  Her six track, highly anticipated debut EP NOCTURNAL HOURS also drops today (via NOiZE Recordings) and ASHWARYA is excited to take the EP to the stage for the launch this Saturday night 10 July at The Toff in Town in Melbourne.  She’ll also be performing her debut headline show in Sydney at The Chippo Thursday 12 August.

ASHWARYA explains the premise behind ‘LOVE AGAIN’, “This is probably my favourite song I’ve ever written because of how daunting it was for me to get so vulnerable. I find myself reflecting on the end of a complicated and bittersweet relationship, doubting I will ever be able to give myself to someone so irrevocably, as I did in the past. Deciding to walk away from someone you love is never easy, and I hope everyone can connect to this song like I do.”  The beautiful video for LOVE AGAIN was shot live, in one take and is the first real performance video for ASHWARYA.

‘LOVE AGAIN’ follows widely praised singles ‘TO THE NIGHT’ (ft Vic Mensa), ‘PSYCHO HOLE’, ‘BIRIYANI’ and ‘COMIN@ME’, all of which join the previously unreleased track ‘HIDE YOU UP, on ASHWARYA’s illustrious debut EP.  The body of work is a glamorous and insightful look into the mind of a young pop auteur, produced by Jarrad Rogers (Charli XCX, Mark Ronson, Icona Pop) and Lucian Blomkamp (Mallrat, 6lack, PRICIE) and mixed by Jamie Snell (Mura Masa, Ellie Goulding, Dua Lipa).  Nocturnal Hours is ASHWARYA at her purest, and speaks to her ambition to not only become a fixture of the pop landscape, but to stay true to her distinct personality and sound throughout. The record’s title reflects the pensieve and varied thoughts that arise once the sun goes down, and the palette matches, with gleaming synths, shuddering drum hits as well as cinematic strings.
