Australian Alt Pop Songstress
SAHARA BECK
drops sparkling new visual
feat. cameo’s by
celebrated Brisbane Artists
For anthemic new single
‘CRAVE ME’
.
.
The video, directed and produced once again by creative collective Method To My Madness, captures Beck on a Girls Night Out for some Karaoke fun and frivolity. Set in the lush and dramatic red tones of The Outpost Bar, (located inside The Fortitude Music Hall, Meanjin), Sahara is called to the stage cheered on by her BFF’s Patience Hodgson, Emily Wurramara, Squidgenini and Hannah Biddell. We watch Sahara perform ‘Crave Me’ while she dances alongside two gorgeous drag queens (Briefs Factory Internationals’ Fez Fa’anana and Mark ‘Captain Kidd’ Winmill) beneath the glow of glittery disco balls and cascades of bubbles.
Visually intoxicating, its not your typical ’lyric’ style karoake video! Sahara and the MTMM team have managed to create a dynamic visual that’s both playful and dramatic like the song, but also acts as a karaoke clip itself.
“When we made this video we were in the early days of navigating covid lockdowns in 2020 and I just really wanted people to watch it and feel like they weren’t stuck at home and be able to sing along and have fun with it” says Sahara “My housemate suggested we do a karaoke video, and the idea was born”.

Produced by ARIA Award nominee Tony Buchen (her Queen of Hearts collaborator) ‘Crave Me’ is a slow-burning firecracker, with Sahara’s soulful powerful voice soaring for the skies. It starts like a lullaby, gliding over dreamy, delicate strings, before igniting into a rousing, defiant declaration of love where she lays everything on the line.
“We created a lullaby of desperation. This song means different things to me. On one hand I’m singing it about everyone I’ve ever given my everything to… On the other hand I sing it to the music industry, my biggest desire. The only thing I’ve ever been sure of is that I love music. I love how it makes me feel and I love that what I create can make others feel something, whether it be sadness, hope or love” says Sahara.

AMNPLIFY – DBA
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
