“Haiku Hands’ self-titled debut is an unapologetic blast of gleeful rebellion” – NME | 4 STARS
“These songs are filled with spirited vocal chants and rousing percussive synths, with a bold pitch-shifted vocal surfacing every now and again—they’re perfect for the club or a bustling street corner. Utilizing both absurd humor and a genuine embrace of fearless independence, it’s the perfect pump-up LP. ” – PASTE MAGAZINE
“The Australian trio…bring a truly eclectic melting pot of styles to the table, all ending up in a brilliantly fun, intoxicating end product…they proceed to give the trio the best reaction that Horatio’s sees all weekend.” – DIY
“Armed with a genre-shifting, kaleidoscopic sound, and delivering a stage show that is truly unlike any other, Haiku Hands have spent the last few years turning nonbelievers into dedicated fans at every turn.” – ROLLING STONE

In 2020, dance-pop collective Haiku Hands (Beatrice Lewis, Claire Nakazawa and Mie Nakazawa) released their critically acclaimed, self-titled debut album. Today, the trio share an IPON remix for their aggressively danceable track, ‘Eat This Bass‘ noting – “I remember listening to the ‘Eat This Bass’ remix for the first time in a festival transport van on our way to Groovin the Moo in Perth. I didn’t know what to expect, Mad Decent had linked us with IPON. As the intro came in we were looking at each other, like ‘what is this…?’ It was cranked up loud and as the beat dropped we started nodding our heads and making bass faces, which is what you want from a remix of ‘Eat This Bass’. It gets real epic and emo, I find it hilarious and awesome. Hope you do too!”
“The first time I heard the song ‘Eat This Bass,’ I immediately felt the “punk” potential of the song,” says IPON. “The words ‘I don’t give a fuck,’ inspired me to create a schizophrenic song. I wanted to make the listener go through several emotions while listening to it like joy, anger and liberation. I added my sound design to bring the song into my universe.”

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
