South African born, Germany raised, and Toronto based pop/rap artist has released the official video for his latest single ‘Break’, which premiered on international tastemaker site Paper Mag, out now via 10K Projects/Homemade Projects / Virgin Music Australia.
Alongside the video, Wiz has also announced his upcoming EP Where Silence Feels Good slated to drop at the top of next year. The project will feature ‘Break’, ‘Everything’ and upcoming track ‘Do It Over’, all which will explore love and its infinite undulations.
On this theme, the visual for ‘Break’ shows Wiz working through the trials and tribulations of a relationship’s end and features Uncut Gems star Noa Fisher. The video serves as one of three visual pieces highlighting the core narrative of the overall EP, stay tuned for more soon.
Sonically diving into the next era of Wiz’s musical journey, ‘Break’ represents a time where he began to move beyond his cultivated rap chops and tap into his aptitude for melodies alongside producer Jeff Hazin. About the track he states, “With ‘Break’ I explore the layers of a heartbreak I went through. The song is about the phase post-relationship, how the perception of the previous lover changes over time, how you can see them in a different light as the feeling of heartbreak changes and transforms, even as you see another person.”
Where Silence Feels Good EP marks the follow up to his What About Now? EP. Released at the end of last year, it features the breakout single “For A Minute,” which has since amassed over 30M streams on Spotify.

AMNPLIFY – HG
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
