Grape Music and Weslo presents ‘Electric Magic’, bringing together two of Adelaide’s biggest bands Zep Boys and Just Floyd.
2021 marks ZEP BOYS’ 35th Anniversary. By the mid 1980s, Vince Contarino was already a seasoned performer having fronted successful Adelaide bands Serpentine, The Dukes and the Mega Boys. Vince was also recruited to sing out the front of The Party Boys and released a single with the band. In 1986, the Zep Boys were formed with the sole purpose of paying tribute to arguably the greatest rock band of all time, LED ZEPPELIN. In just a few years Zep Boys became one of Australia’s most sought-after acts, headlining multi-bill shows, Grand Prix Concerts and sharing stages with international acts such as Alice Cooper.
In the 35 years of Zep Boys’ existence, Vince has guided the band through hundreds of tours, thousands of gigs and numerous line-ups. After the new millennium, Vince decided to add new dynamics and elements to Zep Boys’ performances and collaborated with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra with astonishing success. Since then the Zep Boys have toured the world performing at the Sydney Opera House through to the Hammersmith Odeon and London Palladium. The Zep Boys have prioritised working with Orchestras for the last 15 years, however for their 35th Anniversary they want to return to their pub rock roots and perform Led Zeppelin in its purest form, RAW!
JUST FLOYD are an Adelaide based 7-piece PINK FLOYD show focused on performing an accurate and spine-tingling representation of the yesteryear music from the PINK FLOYD repertoire. Established for more than 7 years, JUST FLOYD have been performing to audiences nationally, building a large fan base with an overwhelming response to the musicianship, celestial tones and intricate arrangements of the progressive rock genre performed by Just Floyd. Just Floyd’s performance showcases many of the popular arrangements from Pink Floyd’s award-winning albums including: The entire rendition of Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, Wish You Were Here, Momentary Lapse of Reason, Animals and Division Bell along with a spectacular lighting and visual show to create the ambiance which you would come to expect from a PINK FLOYD Concert.
This concert also marks the first occasion a livestream will be broadcast worldwide from Thebarton Theatre. Livestream tickets are available HERE.
We wanted to bring the South Australian music community together and are proud to be working with Bob Lott, Robbie Robertson, Gareth Lott and the team at Adelaide’s iconic, Thebarton Theatre. This event could not happen without so many people coming together including Novatech and House of SAP who will be providing the sound and production on the night. For those interstate who can’t make it in person, we are livestreaming the event for you so you can still rock out with us!
Both bands are proudly South Australian and will not affected by border closures.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
