Perth-based indie-pop quartet COTERIE have just revealed their feel-good new single ‘Good Morning’ – produced by Robby De Sa (MAY-A, Gretta Ray, Sahara Beck) at Ralph Street Studios, Alexandria NSW.
Opening with dream-laden guitars, and the warm and infectious melodies of endearing front man Tyler Fisher, ‘Good Morning’ is a sophisticated slice of indie-pop, bursting with charm and an explosion of sunshine. As the song unfolds, additional instrumentation melds meticulously, capped off by deft vocal arrangements that soar effortlessly above.
Tyler describes the motivation behind ‘Good Morning’: “The concept behind ‘Good Morning’ is pretty simple – when it feels like the whole world is falling apart, we’re gonna smile through it all.”
To coincide with the release, the band are currently in the midst of a five-date Western Australian run with performances in Scarborough, Perth, Fremantle, Bunbury, and Margaret River for the West Australian Guitar Fest.
Previous tracks have been supported by the likes of triple j, Double J, Hit Network, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, NME, Pilerats, 3RRR, RTR FM and Radio Adelaide.
In the coming weeks, COTERIE will reveal an accompanying music video for ‘Good Morning’.
