Fresh off the back of her first major, commercial radio tour for her single ‘Devoted’, Beks announces her collaboration with Australian dance duo Dubbel Drop on ‘Devoted – Dubbel Drop Remix’. Having recently charted #2 on the ARIA dance charts with their single ‘Ecstasy’, ‘Devoted – Dubbel Drop Remix’ is the first single taken from Beks upcoming six track, remix pack ‘Devoted – The Remixes’, which also features remixes by SØL, ZYRA (UK), Harry Fox, Big Boss and Boi King Koi. ‘Devoted’ peaked at #3 on the global iTunes Dance Charts, was added to nights rotation on Hot Tomato 102.9fm, Ozmade and the national HIT fm network, played on Triple J and secured Beks her second Channel 7 ‘Home and Away’ advertising campaign.

Set for release on 29th October 2021, Beks highlights her love of electronic dance music by leading the remix pack release with this stand out single by the Australian duo whose previous  work has been played across triple j (AUS), BBC Radio 1 (UK), Kiss FM (UK), The Edge 96.1 (SYD), ATB adds to triple j Unearthed Radio and picked by McDonalds for a national advertising campaign. “We love Beks’ energy and ‘Devoted’ has so much vibe in it that we knew we could flip into something we would personally smash in our sets. For the music video, officially out 5th November, Beks partnered with Imaginera and go to director and visual collaborator, Beau Bressington of Bread Productions. Shot within the immersive playstation, temporarily located in Southbank Brisbane, Beks showcases her past learnings as a dancer in a self choreographed montage throughout the visual installation.

To round out a prosperous year for the independent artist whose arrival as ‘Beks’ in November 2020, has seen her secure placements of her singles ‘The Thing About Us’ and ‘Devoted’ on Channel 7 ‘Home and Away’, a semi finalist in the International Songwriting Competition judged by Dua Lipa, appearances on Ash London, The Edge FM, B105, The Dustin Skipworth Project (LA), partnership with IKEA and Live Nation for IKEA Festival and a performance at Pride Day Festival following her debut SOLD OUT ‘Devoted’ single launch in her hometown of Brisbane, Beks will release ‘Devoted – The Remixes’ in full.

The original single was written by Beks (Rebecca Callander) and Aaron Lee at his studio on the NSW Central Coast. Produced and mixed by Aaron Lee, the song’s 80s style guitar riff and four to the floor beat echoes a disco groove reminiscent of an early Daft Punk. The song is entitled ‘Devoted’ however the hook of the single is ‘I’m Not Devoted To You’.
