The Australian Institute of Music (AIM) is excited to introduce inhouse label, 2030 Records and its launch releases – Outer Water’s ‘For The Feeling’ and ‘RAREBOY’ from VALDOXAN, both singles out now via Ditto Music.
2030 Records is a label for the students of AIM, entirely run by the students themselves – the team responsible for marketing and promoting their releases from the vast talent pool at AIM.
Tim Kelly, Program Director, Arts & Entertainment Management at AIM, said today, “2030 Records is a fantastic initiative from the students at AIM. A label for and by the students offers opportunities for our artistic community whilst enabling our management students to master the tools of the trade. So exciting! Outer Water
‘For The Feeling’ is a journey through the mind of Outer Water, combining interesting rhythms with anthemic lyricism and wavy pop melodies. Valdoxan
Described by the artist himself as a “dark and melodic, phonk-inspired emo trap song with a metal influence”, ‘RAREBOY’ is the third single from VALDOXAN. My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
