Due to high demand for Paul Kelly’s Making Gravy, Frontier Touring is excited to announce a second and final Melbourne show at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl for Friday 10 December.
General public tickets for this new show will go on-sale 2pm AEDT, Wednesday 10 November via frontiertouring.com/ makinggravy
Tickets are on-sale now and selling fast for Making Gravy’s Melbourne show one at Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Thursday 9 December and Brisbane’s Riverstage on Saturday 18 December.
Joining the legendary songwriter Paul Kelly and his band in Melbourne and Brisbane this December – Vika and Linda Bull, Dan Kelly, Bill McDonald, Peter Luscombe, Ash Naylor and Cameron Bruce – are some of Australia’s finest musicians, Ball Park Music and Sycco with Emma Donovan & The Putbacks.
Now in its fourth year, Making Gravy kicks off the festive season with the music of Paul Kelly’s four decade-long career, reserving a special place for the Christmas classic ‘How To Make Gravy’. Anyone who follows Paul Kelly, knows the depth and detail that makes his work so enduring. Making Gravy is no exception.
In perfect timing is Kelly’s just-announced new – and first Christmas – album, Paul Kelly’s Christmas Train (out November 19 through EMI Music) – available for pre-order HERE

The first single ‘Christmas’ from Paul Kelly’s Christmas Train is out now. Directed by Siân Darling (Courtney Barnett, Alice Skye, Electric Fields) and shot on the streets of Kelly’s home-turf, St Kilda with an iPhone, the video for ‘Christmas’ is a rollicking and lively rock ‘n’ roll adventure that pays homage to the nostalgia of a typical Australian summer Christmas.
Making Gravy has become an unmissable live music experience. Christmas comes early with this all-star line-up, so secure your tickets early to avoid missing out!
It’s Making Gravy time, get ready to ‘Just add flour, salt, a little red wine’…
Per Victorian Government guidelines, all patrons and staff over the age of 16 are to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, or have a vaccine medical exemption signed by their doctor, and confirm proof to enter the Sidney Myer Music Bowl site.
For entry to the Riverstage Brisbane show, it is the preference of Frontier Touring and Management that all attendees are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
