SAFIA BIO
Canberran trio SAFIA is Ben Woolner (Vocals/Keys), Michael Bell (Drums) and Harry Sayers (Guitar/Keys). Their sophomore album ‘Story’s Start or End’ was released in 2019, featuring Gold certified single ‘Starlight’ and triple j favourites ‘Resolution’ and ‘Runaway’. Written and recorded over a span of 2.5 years, the self–produced record showcases the indie pop trio’s bold vision as well as their meticulous production and knack for adventurous arrangement.
First formed in 2012, SAFIA shot to public attention after winning the triple j Unearthed Groovin The Moo competition, and gained international attention with breakout single ‘Listen to Soul, Listen to Blues’. The band followed it up with ‘Counting Sheep’, which has since amassed a cult following – most recently in China where it has amassed over 300 million streams. Their debut album ‘Internal’ shot to #2 on the ARIA chart in 2016 and includes Gold singles ‘Make Them Wheels Roll’ and ‘Embracing Me’. No strangers to collaboration, SAFIA have previously teamed up with Canberra locals Peking Duk for their 2x Platinum single ‘Take Me Over’, and lent vocals to Alison Wonderland’s ‘Take It To Reality’. They’ve toured with the likes of Twenty One Pilots, Lorde and Disclosure.
SAFIA’s theatrical stage show has earned them a reputation as one of Australia’s best live acts. They take the expansive sonic worlds they create and turn them into a jaw dropping live experience. They’re regular festival favourites, having performed at Splendour In The Grass, Groovin the Moo, Primavera (Spain), Concrete & Grass (China) and SXSW (US) among others. In support of their recent record, they sold out theatres around Australia and took their impressive new live show to the main stages of For The Love, NYE In The Park and Adelaide Fringe Festival.

TOUCH SENSITIVE BIO
Touch Sensitive is the ultimate triple-threat; as a producer, in-demand live performer and DJ, he’s a treasured slashie for artists and audiences alike. Whether it’s remixing Rufus, collaborating with Flume or touring internationally with Flight Facilities, he’s become renowned as the man with an ear for hooks and impeccable taste. Australian vibe-maker, Michael Di Francesco under his moniker Touch Sensitive, returned to the electronic music’s holy circle in early 2017 with the release of bass-driven single ‘Lay Down’, his first official release since 2013’s cult hit, ‘Pizza Guy.’ The track topped the Hype Machine charts and permeated music sites globally with a now signature palette of syncopated synthesisers and immediate hooks with over 20 million impressions globally. The song was followed by the release of his debut full-length album ‘Visions’ a soaring pastiche of slow disco, new-jack swing and undoubtedly retro productions from the Pizza Guy himself.
On the stage, Touch Sensitive has become a festival favourite, having appeared at Splendour In The Grass, Falls Festival, The Plot, Laneway, Soundscape, Lost Paradise, Mountain Sounds, Perth’s CIRCO, Holy Ship, Splash House and more. His latest summer party jam, ‘G.A.L ft. Daniel Wilson’ saw Touch Sensitive bring in the new year at Falls Festival in 2019.
Affectionately considered Future Classic’s spirit animal, Touch Sensitive’s affiliation with the label runs deep; ‘Body Stop’ was one of Future Classic’s first releases and he has played on hits for a sizeable contingent his labelmates, including Hayden James, Flight Facilities, Anna Lunoe, Charles Murdoch and Flume, his blue bass is now recognisable across many of their live shows.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
