“EASY WAY OUT”

Mid North Coasters, Galleri, have a sound that’s not easy to put into a box. An eclectic combination of soul, alt-rock, psychedelia, country, surf rock and premium indie makes a glorious concoction on their new track “Easy Way Out”.
The track follows their previous single “Head in the Mire” and was similarly engineered and mixed by Zach Miller from Target Hearts Studio and mastered by Paul Blakey at 12th & Vine. The lyrical dissonance between soulful and joyous instrumentals and the deeper context carries through on the new single.
“This song questions the way we walk life,” says frontman and lyricist John Moore.
“Which path to take? Who says what’s right and what’s wrong? Being brave enough do life the way you want to, even if it doesn’t conform to society, family or friends expectations.
“Questioning yourself and your decisions but ultimately finding the balance in what is important and meaningful to you and rolling with it.”
Galleri were named such as they originally started out playing and rehearsing at an old art gallery at Green Point, eventually becoming the house band. The fluid ‘Galleri’ banner gave a broad umbrella under which the original songwriters could mix and blend styles and genres.
The mid-coasters’ talents have already graced the stage at major festivals like Groovin the Moo, Grow your Own, Nimbin Roots, Gumball Festival. They’ve embarked on East Coast tours and played Oxford Arts in Sydney among artists like Lime Cordialle, Dan Sultan, Ash Grunwald, Ngaiire, Toni Childs, among many others!

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
