Now in its fourth year, ‘Making Gravy’ kicks off the festive season with the music of Paul Kelly’s four decade-long career, reserving a special place for the Christmas classic, ‘How To Make Gravy’. Anyone who follows Paul Kelly, knows the depth and detail that makes his work so enduring. ‘Making Gravy’ is no exception.
Paul Kelly said recently, “I’m really looking forward to these shows with the band and all our guests. We haven’t been able to play together much in Australia or overseas for the last two years. So this is a great chance to bring it all on home, all around the world.”
Danny Keenan, Head of Business Development, eMusic Live Australia, said, “We’re thrilled to partner with the amazing Paul Kelly, to stream his ‘Making Gravy’ concert on December 21 and welcome him to the roster of artists who’ve chosen eMusic Live as their live-streaming partner. eMusic Live will allow Paul the opportunity to engage with fans in a new way, capturing a global audience for his iconic Making Gravy events. eMusic Live strives to provide the most advanced commercial features to support live shows and streams, in a consumer friendly manner.”
In keeping with the theme is Kelly’s new – and first Christmas – album, Paul Kelly’s Christmas Train (EMI Music), available HERE. The first single ‘Christmas’ is out now. Directed by Siân Darling (Courtney Barnett, Alice Skye, Electric Fields) and shot on the streets of Kelly’s home-turf, St Kilda, the video for ‘Christmas’ is a rollicking and lively rock ‘n’ roll adventure that pays homage to the nostalgia of a typical Australian summer Christmas.
‘Making Gravy’ has become an unmissable live music experience; now, for the first time, fans from across Australia and around the world can experience the magic for themselves.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
