Kyle Walker speaks to his inspiration for crafting the record, “When starting ‘Them Drums’ I wanted to create something groovy that could really set a party off. I feel like this track could work from a pool party to the club and anywhere in between. The funkadelic sample really helped put some soul into the record and I’m so stoked to finally share this one with the world.”
In a short period of time Kyle Walker has quickly made a mark in the dance music scene with an unmatched style of house music that has caught the attention of industry legends such as Gorgon City, Vintage Culture, Lee Foss, Claptone, Noizu, and Anna Lunoe. Not to mention winning Insomiac’s discovery project just one year after his journey into house music began. His undeniable talent has seen him perform at Nocturnal Wonderland, North Coast Music Festival and EDC Las Vegas, to name a few. These impressive accolades have since led him to releases across the likes of Repopulate Mars, Saved Records and Sink or Swim. Ranging from deep and melodic to grittier bass and tech house, Kyle Walker is showcasing his sonic palette to be limitless, proving himself as an act that simply cannot be ignored.
