“Korn’s fourteenth album in twenty eight years is an extraordinary piece of musical art. It’s a refined, classy well oiled machine of power, angst and spite. It’s fresh sounding yet still undeniably Korn.” – HiFi Way

“Requiem a brave, bold, and extremely important album.” – Metal Wani

“Big choruses, catchy hooks, absolutely stunning vocal work from the man, the myth, the legendary front man Jonathon Davis, riffs galore and some incredibly solid drumming from Ray Luzier.” – Everblack Media

“Requiem carries on a winning streak that has lasted for over a decade.” – Sense Music Media

“Requiem offers the next evolutionary step in Korn’s three decades of alternative/nu-metal trailblazing, the album’s title lives up to its verbal definition as ‘an act of remembrance’ by reminding fans why they fell in love with the band in the first place.” – Loud Online

Korn releases their highly anticipated studio album Requiem via Loma Vista Recordings, today. The 9-track album features the stand-out hit single Start the Healing, in addition to the previously released tracks Forgotten, which Rolling Stone described as “explosive” and Lost In The Grandeurwhich dropped just a few days before Requiem’s release as a final taste of the record. Requiem is produced by Korn and Chris Collier. Energized by a new creative process free of time constraints, the band was able to do things with Requiem that the past two decades haven’t always afforded them, such as taking additional time to experiment together or diligently recording to analog tape – processes which unearthed newfound sonic dimension and texture in their music.

To celebrate the release of Requiem, Korn, recently described by GQ as “bold and iconoclastic,” will be performing two sold-out shows, one tonight and one tomorrow night, in Los Angeles at the Banc Of California stadium alongside System Of A Down, Helmet and Russian Circles.

In celebration of Requiem’s release, Korn will be hosting a Requiem Mass; a global event taking place at 3pm AEDT time today. Join the band in honouring the souls that have passed during these unprecedented times, with an intimate ceremony and epic live performance, music directed by Richard Gibbs (Queen of the Damned), unlike you’ve ever seen Korn before, at the Hollywood United Methodist Church in Los Angeles. The Requiem Mass will be live-streamed globally for all to experience, directly from the church to Korn’s YouTube channel in real time.

Korn are currently performing four nights with System Of A Down.

Korn kicks off their 2022 arena tour, produced by Live Nation, on March 4 and will be accompanied by very special guests Chevelle and Code Orange on the 19-date junket.

About Korn:

Korn changed the world with the release of their self-titled debut album. It was a record that would pioneer a genre, while the band’s enduring success points to a larger cultural moment. The FADER notes, “There was an unexpected opening in the pop landscape and Korn articulated a generational coming-of-angst for a claustrophobic, self-surveilled consciousness. Korn became the soundtrack for a generation’s arrival as a snarling, thrashing, systemically-restrained freak show.”

Since forming, Korn has sold 40 million albums worldwide, collected two Grammys, toured the world countless times, and set many records in the process that will likely never be surpassed. Vocalist Jonathan Davis, guitarists James “Munky” Shaffer and Brian “Head” Welch, bassist Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu, and drummer Ray Luzier, have continued to push the limits of the rock, alternative and metal genres, while remaining a pillar of influence for legions of fans and generations of artists around the globe.

The level of Korn’s reach transcends accolades and platinum certifications. They are “a genuine movement in a way bands cannot be now,” attests The Ringer. They represent a new archetype and radical innovation, their ability to transcend genre makes barriers seem irrelevant.
