THIS THAT
reschedules
Newcastle to
Saturday 12th March
Sandstone Point
approved to go ahead
Saturday 5th March
.
Hold on to those tickets! THIS THAT Newcastle is forging ahead, now crashing Wickham Park just a fortnight later on Saturday 12th March. Still a massive double weekender, THIS THAT Sandstone Point is 100% approved, locked and loaded to kick off the party on Saturday 5th March. The iconic festival is charging forward with its colossal lineup of Aussie faves including Hayden James, WHAT SO NOT, Client Liaison, Dune Rats, Jack River, Badrapper vs Luude and stacks more.
Following the statement made by THIS THAT organisers last week, the confirmation of Newcastle’s new date means that punters in both QLD and NSW can enjoy the iconic THIS THAT experience to its fullest.
The entire original line-up will be along for the ride, except for Polish Club, who unfortunately won’t be able to make the Newcastle date. But, in true THIS THAT fashion, ticket holders can expect some scorching hot lineup additions to be announced soon.
THIS THAT organisers would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who has supported the festival through these recent changes. Ticket holders, artists, Newcastle Council, event crew and all Stakeholders have maintained an unreal level of patience, flexibility and optimism – making THIS THAT even more determined to deliver. All tickets purchased for the original Newcastle date are automatically valid for 12 March. For those who won’t be able to party down at THIS THAT, a one-week refund window for Newcastle via Oztix will be open from 9am AEDT Monday 7th February.
VIP ticket allocations are completely exhausted – and GA tickets for both locations are close behind. Those lucky enough to already have a ticket are encouraged to hold onto it and start resting up for the biggest weekend of 2022. Those who don’t have one? Take this as a hint.
Of course, THAT THAT isn’t done dishing out the goods just yet. In the coming weeks more local artists, a couple of crowd-pleasers, set times and the winner of THIS THAT’s triple j Unearthed comps will be unveiled. Newcastle attendees can also expect the announcement of the stacked lineup that will be hitting the Red Bull Summer Vibes stage.
Get ready, Queensland and New South Wales. THIS THAT is almost here.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
