Today community legends, Young Henrys raise their schooners to celebrate the release of alt-country superstar Andy Golledge’s forthcoming debut album Strength Of A Queen, with a special draught style lager AG Draught, a perfect brew to set the mood for easy listening. The limited-edition beer will be accompanying Andy on his first Australian tour taking place throughout March and April.

Leaning into country music king Andy Golledge, the brew is a blend of old school Aussie malt and hops, guaranteeing a clean and crisp taste without the hassle. With a simple yet classic finish, this brew is best enjoyed in a frosty long-neck in a place where both the Newtown boys and Andy have become timeless figures, the stage.

A gentle soul trapped in the body of a 70s tuna fisherman, and with an infectious energy likened to Springsteen, Andy will see the culmination of years of barnstorming around Sydney come full circle with the release of Strength Of A Queen. Described by Golledge as “the road trip of my life so far”, the unpredictability and raw energy of this record is best enjoyed with the invigorating taste of AG Draught.

“About 10 years ago, our small Young Henrys fam were dancing, singing and testing out our newly built tasting bar, singing along to a local country artist which Richard (YH co-founder) had asked to play his 40th Birthday. That local muso (who’d played for beers as I remember it) was none other than Andy Golledge. Now a country music icon and Newtown hero, we’re pretty bloody proud to brew AG Draught in celebration of our long-time mate Andy Golledge and his debut album Strength of A Queen. This record will hands down be one of my favourite releases this year!”, says co-founder, Oscar McMahon
