VINNY LUNAR
gets reflective in
second single from
CHAUFFEUR,
joint EP with
LOW BEAMS

In the second single from the 5 track concept EP Chauffeur, Vinny Lunar reflects on the solitude he faces on his hero’s journey.
Taking a moment away from the chaos to breathe, Vinny finds himself serenading Chandra – Sanskrit for the moon – alone at night. Also his middle name, the word has special meaning for him. As he starts to ponder the intricate contours of the lunar beauty, the interplay between light and dark inspires reflections on the importance of being alone on a journey of self-discovery and vulnerability.
Low Beams’ laid-back, ethereal production features an entrancing sitar hook over an R&B slow jam, while Vinny’s voice invites us in to explore the subtleties of self reflection. With a sound reminiscent of Bryson Tiller and Craig David, and inspired by AR Rahman’s famous 90s Bollywood soundtrack for the movie Sapnay, ‘Chandra’ is as intoxicating as it is revelatory.
The EP’s debut single ‘On The Outside’ was added to FBi Radio rotation and featured on BBC Radio’s Asia Network, and heralds the wave of interest the EP is bound to provoke.
Vinny’s first collaborative body of work explores a key motif as he playfully poses the question of what might happen if a white guy was the brown boy’s driver for a change – rewriting a classic racist trope in the process.
Will our hero gain the clarity he needs during this moment of respite? Listen to ‘Chandra’ to find out!

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
