Campbelltown Emcee Kerser returns with his brand new single “Like I’m Trapped”, the seconds single from his massively anticipated 10th album.
Packed full of big 808 drums and raw lyrics, “Like I’m Trapped” is a powerful roller coaster that will leave every fan wanting more. Teaming up again with acclaimed Sydney producer Open Till L8, Kerser proves once more that he’s a force to be reckoned with.
“Everyone is in some way trapped in their own struggles” Kerser reflects. And he knows. The infamous rags-to-riches story, Kerser’s skill in shedding light on the disenfranchised is as important today as it was ten albums ago. “Open Till L8 was flipping an old Joel Turner song ‘These Kids’ and I immediately connected with it and started writing”.

“Like I’m Trapped” features the vocal elements from “These Kids” performed by Joel Turner and The Modern Day Poets (used courtesy of Joel Turner and The Modern Day Poets under licence).
Since the release of his 2011 debut album ‘The Nebulizer’, Kerser has gone on to release nine albums in the last nine years, including his ARIA 2019 Award nominated Best Urban Album ‘Engraved In The Game’. Seven of Kerser’s nine albums made their debut in the top 10 of the ARIA charts.
Continuing to dominate the game some ten years after his debut, Kerser can also add the title of most-viewed Australian rapper on YouTube with over 180 million views. Kerser has sold out national shows annually.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
