“Not many bands currently on the circuit have put as much energy into their performance as Spacey Jane do. Their sets are electric and infectious; even if you don’t know a song, you’re moving by the time it’s finished.” – NME
“One of the standout strengths of Spacey Jane is their live show. It’s utterly infectious. They play like they’re having a blast on stage and it means the crowd does too. Their energy and passion might only be bettered by that of their fans… screaming back the lyrics of every song.” – TRIPLE J
“The four-piece grew from indie-rockers worth keeping an eye on to one of Australia’s leading bands, emerging as a flag-bearer of the next generation of indie/pop.” – PILERATS

Today, Spacey Jane releases their highly anticipated second studio album, Here Comes Everybody via AWAL. The internationally lauded Fremantle four-piece has made an album so wide-ranging in its instrumentation and scope, so vital in its message, it’s destined to become a future classic. After selling a staggering 20,000 tickets to their forthcoming Australian tour so far, the band will now perform an additional show at Sydney’s Big Top on Thursday 11 August, Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Wednesday 17 August and two additional shows at The Forum on Tuesday 23 August and Friday 25 August.
The album is paired with the poignant new ballad Pulling Through and the accompanying lyric video, which offers a fly on the wall insight to their enduring friendship and life on the road. “This song is for a friend who lost a loved one. I didn’t really know what to say at the time except for ‘I’m sorry and I hope you’re ok’ so putting it in a song made it easier. I think it’s hard to not feel cheesy or tokenistic when you’re trying to support someone through grief but I feel like, through this song, I could say it exactly how I wanted to,” says frontman Caleb Harper of the song.
Over the next week, Spacey Jane will make a series of record store appearances, signing copies of their new album Here Comes Everybody in Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide and Melbourne. Appearances in Brisbane and Perth will also be coupled with an acoustic performance from the band. See below for full details.
Taken from the working title of Wilco’s seminal album Yankee Hotel Foxtrot (one of the bands’ favourite albums) Here Comes Everybody sounds and feels like an album that has truly been lived in. Every note is imbued with hard-earned wisdom now being passed down to a new generation. “I want it to be a guide to the experiences that are coming for those entering the period of life I’m leaving,” Caleb says of the new album’s aims. “Our first record discussed personal experiences of mine and it was a blessing to see how many people related to those stories,” he adds, but wants album two to be “for youth persevering and thriving emotionally under the weight of our generational burden.”
The album features recent singles, Hardlight, It’s Been A Long Day, Sitting Up, Lots of Nothing which landed at #3 on the triple j hottest 100 and Lunchtime which also took out the #12 position on the coveted poll. Available digitally now, an exclusive limited edition neon vinyl and poster is available from JBHIFI, alongside an exclusive limited edition translucent blue vinyl and signed art card via the Spacey Jane Official Store, until stocks run out.
Renowned for their energetic and dynamic live show, it’s been a heavy year of touring for the band, with sold-out performances in Australia, and 13 sold-out dates in the UK and Europe in May. Demand is also high for their upcoming 24-date tour in North America in October and November, with shows in New York, LA, Boston, Toronto, Chicago, Washington DC, Vancouver and Santa Ana sold out months in advance. Spacey Jane will also take the stage at Spin Off, Day Trip, Spilt Milk, Lost Paradise, Heaps Good and Falls Festivals.
The beginning of Spacey Jane’s astonishing success arrived when the band released debut album Sunlight in June 2020. Universal adulation duly followed for the band – vocalist and guitarist Caleb Harper, bassist Peppa Lane, guitarist Ashton Hardman-Le Cornu and drummer and manager Kieran Lama. The album debuted at #2 on the ARIA album chart, was voted Album of the Year in the triple j Listener’s Poll, was nominated for a J Award for Album of the Year and is now certified Gold. The sleeper single-turned-megahit, Booster Seat picked up Song Of The Year at the 2021 ARIA’s, the AIR Awards Best Independent Song Of The Year and is certified platinum. It currently sits at over 46 million streams on Spotify alone, with the band hitting over 200 million in total streams. Booster Seat also landed at #2 on the triple j hottest 100 in 2021, alongside Skin at #15, Straightfaced at #28 and Weightless at #81.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
