Spacey Jane debut at #1
Perth band’s sophomore album tops the Albums Charts

It’s another Australian success story in the ARIA Charts this week as Spacey Jane debut at #1 on the Albums Chart with sophomore effort Here Comes Everybody.
Spacey Jane write: “Thank you so, so much for the love and support we’ve received for this record. Making this album was a massive journey for us all, we poured our hearts into it. From seeing your tags and mentions, meeting you in person and hearing you talk about what HCE means to you and to having a number 1 album… We are all so deeply grateful for everything”.
ARIA CEO, Annabelle Herd, said: “Caleb, Peppa, Kieran and Ashton from Spacey Jane deserve a serious round of applause for their fantastic work on Here Comes Everybody and a huge congratulations for their #1 debut. Another week with an Australian act at the top of the Albums Chart and another reason to celebrate the bright future of our home grown music industry.”
Beating American country artist Luke Combs to the top spot, this is the Perth four piece’s second debut on the charts after their first album, Sunlight, made it to #2 last year. Here Comes Everybody also took the #1 position in the Vinyl Albums Chart as well as #1 on the Australian Artists Albums Charts.
Luke Combs debuts at #2 with Growin’ Up, his third debut in the Albums Chart top 10. Aussie indie hardcore band SPEED have also made their first ARIA Charts appearance, debuting at #5 with their EP A Gang Called Speed, while the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack for Baz Lurhmann’s ELVIS debuts at #22
On the Singles Chart, Kate Bush returns to #1 with Running Up That Hill (Deal with God); bumping last week’s #1, Glimpse of Us by Japanese-Australian artist Joji back to #2. This marks the third week Kate Bush has been at #1 since featuring in season four of Stranger Things.

I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
