Kate said, “It is a first for us to close the Handpicked stage in this style, but we couldn’t be more excited.”

“Hot Dub Time Machine is synonymous with celebrating – his show has become notorious as an explosive celebration of music. Getting down amongst the vines will be a most epic way to close the night at Handpicked,” said Kate.

Fresh from taking the US by storm, indie rock sensation, Middle Kids, will delight crows with hits from their ARIA award winning album, Today We’re the Greatest, and tracks from their debut album, Lost Friends, which took out Triples J’s Best Australian Album.

The Sydney-based trio, made up of Hannah Joy, Tim Fitz and Harry Day, have scored themselves a legion of US fans after performing on prestigious US late night shows, including Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Late Show with James Corden, CBS This Morning and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

“Middle Kids bring such a humble, beautiful presence to the stage. I will no doubt race side of stage to sing along to my favourite song ‘Edge of Town’, which has been on rotation on my Spotify playlist for years. What an honour to get them live in our backyard,” said Kate.

After notching up a decade in the music industry, The Rubens will take crowds on a journey of their biggest hits, including Hoops, which took out Triple J’s Hottest 100 and fan favourite, Live in Life, alongside their latest single, Waste A Day.

Hailing from Menangle in New South Wales, the five-piece alternative rock band comprised of three Margin brothers Zaac, Sam and Elliot, and long-term friends Scott Baldwin and William Zeglis, recently hit top spot on the Australian charts with the release of their new album, 0202.

“The Rubens have such an amazing catalogue of songs, but its more than that, seeing these guys live, is a must,” said Kate.

Known for her alternative pop anthems, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Wafia, is set to take crowds on a journey with her music, from stories of heartache, to new sensations, fractured familial experiences and societal and political alienation.

The gold-selling songstress, who was born in the Netherlands to Syrian and Iraqi parents, is passionate about empowering marginalized communities and helping women of all shapes, sizes and nationalities find themselves in her music.

Paddy Macrae and Zane Harris who grew up together in the sunshine with the ocean at their feet, have cultivated a devoted fanbase, mesmerized by their foot-tapping rhythm and catchy melodies.

Melbourne singer-song writer, Steph Strings, is set to put Handpicked crowds under a spell with her captivating melodies and rare ability to tell a story through music.

The boutique festival is a complete sensory experience, showcasing Lake Breeze’s award-winning wines, food trucks serving delicious local produce, captivating cocktail forest, and a diverse range of local arts, crafts, jewellery and homewares at The Lane.

Festival goers can party well into the night with Handpicked providing a Tent City, with space for up to 1,500 campers and even an opportunity for some to indulge in ‘glamping.’
