After playing to sold-out crowds across North America and Europe earlier this year, Frontier Touring and Chugg Entertainment are excited to announce debut Australian shows for viral US singer-songwriter Alec Benjamin with The (Un)Commentary Tour. Best known for his 2x ARIA Platinum breakthrough single ‘Let Me Down Slowly’, Alec will headline shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane this December.
“I can’t wait to finally perform in Australia! It’s long overdue!” – Alec Benjamin

Alec released his sophomore album (Un)Commentary in April 2022 with hits ‘Devil Doesn’t Bargain’, ‘The Way You Felt’, ‘Older’, ‘Shadow Of Mine’, and ‘Speakers’ quickly generating over 200 million streams combined. With a loyal and doting fan base playing his songs on repeat, it’s no surprise Billboard said, “Most Alec Benjamin shows are full-on singalongs, with much of the audience knowing every lyric by heart…”.
With an impressive resume of over 4 billion global streams, Alec pens vulnerable coming-of-age confessions with a cinematic, lo-fi sound. Audiences have fallen in love with early tracks ‘Boy in the Bubble’ and ‘If We Have Each Other’ from his first studio record Narrated for You, thanks to his honest lyrical musings.
‘a storyteller who’s mastered the art of turning everyday heartbreak into compelling pop songs.’ – PAPER
Performing in public parking lots at Shawn Mendes and Troye Sivan gigs catapulted Alec Benjamin to a global sensation, now boasting 10 million social media followers, 70 million in playlist reach, and over 1 billion YouTube views on his channel. Since then, Alec has gone on to appear nationally across the US on The Late Late Show with James Corden, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show where he delivered powerful performances.
Don’t miss Alec Benjamin’s live debut down under – after his recent sell-out run of shows, this may be the last time he plays such intimate shows.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
