Fremantle singer songwriter, producer, Jarred Wall is a proud Noongar man delivering unique electro pop. With airplay on 4ZZZ, FBi Radio, RTRfm and TripleJ, TripleJ Unearthed, debut tracks ‘Hold My Hand’, ‘It’s Just a Dream, Wake Up’, ‘Sentimental Dreams’ and ‘1984’ received placement on Spotify’s Deadly Beats Editorial and personalised spotify editorials playlists ‘Low Key Weekend’ and ‘Weekend & Friends’. ‘It’s Just a Dream, Wake Up’ and ‘1984’ were both in the top 100 songs played on RTRfm for 2019/20.
Premiered by RTRfm in February 2021, ‘When I Was a Young Boy’ received regular rotation on RTRfm, airplay on TripleJ, 4zzz, FBI radio and placement on Spotify’s Deadly Beats, Blak Australia and New Music Friday AU&NZ (26.02.21) and personalised editorial playlists ‘Dinner Mood’ and ‘Coast to Coast’. With themes of nostalgia, ‘When I Was a Young Boy’ also marked Boox Kid’s debut film clip and premiere by Buzz-Music LA on 05.03.21.

A BIGsound 50 artist in 2020, Boox Kid is a cross genre performer, starring as Wardong in WA Opera’s Koolbardi Wer Wardong (2021/22), written by Gina Williams and Guys Ghouse and sung entirely in Noongar language. Boox Kid was also a part of APRA’s RESONATE songwriting and production program in April 2022 at Studios301, collaborating with First Nation artists such as Candica Lorrae (The Merindas), Jem Cassar-Daley and Cloe Terare, with releases looming.
Recent performances include Perth BeerFest 2020, RTRfm Radiothon Party, WAMfest, Nannup Music Fest 2020, BIGSOUND 2020 (online), Isol-Aid, Sofar Sounds, Maali Fest 2021, Alter Boy EP support show, Fairy Queen (Theatre production – cast as Oberon, acting and singing role) and Perth Festival 2022.
Previous single G.F.Y features Perth powerhouse Alter Boy and was released on 20.08.21, to a capacity crowd at the Williams Street Bird on 21.08.2021. Upcoming single ‘Wrecking Ball’ is a dreamy acoustic pop track with a signature Boox Kid beat to finish.

Jarred Wall known as Boox Kid is a First Nation (Noongar) beat creator delivering unique dreamy electropop. ‘When I was a young boy’ premiered by RTRfm, released to streaming and radio on 26.02.2021, receiving rotation on RTRfm, triplej, FBi radio, 4zzz and placement on Spotify’s Deadly Beats, New Music Friday AU &NZ and First Sounds Volume 5.
Boox Kid was a BIGSOUND50 artist with performances at Maali Festival, RTRfm Radiothon Party, WAMfest, BIGSOUND 2020, Isol-Aid festival, Perth Festival (2022), Alter Boy support. My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
