Following the success of her #3 iTunes Dance Chart hit Devoted, rising pop star and Tiktok viral personality Beks has returned with the infectious Young Forever. Capturing a youthful sentiment, the song sounds like an everlasting summer with a shimmery disco-infused pop beat pulsating throughout its duration. Having garnered international radio success across the EU and Spotify editorial support in Germany, Switzerland, Asia, and Australia on her single ‘All The Good Boys Are Gay’ the artist is set to bring her signature pop sound to her growing fanbase.

The accompanying music video pushes past everything Beks has done before and enters a Katy Perry inspired world where everything isn’t quite as it seems. Sponsored by JBL Speakers and Smirnoff Vodka, produced by Beks, and styled in Kimbralou, the video captures the power of a state of mind, and brings listeners into this colourful world of letting go. 

“The music video has a lot of layers. My director and I worked closely to capture the feeling of youth, and of summer at the surface. Underneath, I’m leaning into my own fears about running out of time and not achieving everything I want to before it’s too late. At the beginning I’m dressed as an 85yrs old senior version of myself, and I drink the ‘Beks Energy’ drink and become young again. The drink is essentially a placebo, it has no real transformative ingredients or ability to time travel, it’s simply a state of mind and I think that’s powerful” she explains. “It was so funny turning up to the carwash to recreate the petrol scene from Zoolander. People were actually washing their cars after work, minding their own business whilst we were sexualizing sponges and water pressure hoses.” she laughs.

Premiering Young Forever live at Suncorp Stadium to an audience of 20,000 for Nova at the NRL in April, she also delivered a highly praised performance at Big Gay Day where she teased a lot of new music. She has also spent the last 4 months in Europe after being invited to participate in the Monster / Guesstimate International Songwriting Camp where she also performed at the German Songwriting Awards at House of Music. Fastly growing as an in demand writer, Beks travelled to Denmark to write at the DPOP camp run by John Aagard (Aqua) and onto London to write with such artists as Girli, July Jones, Call Me Loop and more.

Beks is a holy tipped rising star who has gained media acclaim from NME Australia, Pilerats, Purple Sneakers, Tone Deaf, and Thomas Bleach. With a rapidly building fanbase, the Brisbane based singer-songwriter has consistently charted on ITunes and peaked at #3 on the global iTunes Dance Charts with Devoted.  Beks has also achieved two consecutive Australian ad campaigns for Channel 7’s Home and Away with The Thing About Us and Devoted, while her music is played in over 10k retail stores Australia wide. Her recent appearances on IKEA Concert Roulette, Mardi Gras, and Pride Festival have prepared her for her role & performance in Young Rock Season 2.
