Meg Mac debuts at the top of the ARIA Albums chart this week, beating out pop supernovas BLACKPINK for the #1 spot and an ARIA chart peak.
Matter of Time, Meg Mac’s third studio album, represents the Australian singer-songwriter’s best performance on the ARIA Charts after 2017’s Low Blows peaked at #2. She has previously been nominated for Best Female Artist and Breakthrough Artist Of The Year at the 2015 ARIA Awards.
On her incredible success, Meg said: “Thank you to everyone who has gotten behind me and supported this album, it truly means the world. I couldn’t be happier to hear the #1 news today.”
ARIA CEO, Annabelle Herd, said: “It’s so exciting to see an incredible local artist like Meg Mac take out #1, particularly in a week as hotly contested as this one, it’s a real triumph. Congratulations to Meg and her team from everyone at ARIA. Two Australian #1 debuts in a row is serious reason to celebrate.”
After making ARIA chart history with their #1 single Pink Venom, K-pop megastars BLACKPINK debut at #2 on the Albums Chart with their second studio album, BORN PINK. The act, featuring Australian-raised main singer Rosé, also debut at #5 on the Singles Chart with Shut Down. Pink Venom returns to the top 20 at #18.
Continuing the K-pop trend, NCT 127 debut at #3 on the Albums Chart with 2 Baddies – The 4th Album, the NCT sub unit’s latest release.
For the second week in a row, David Guetta and Bebe Rexha’s I’m Good (Blue) takes #1 on the Singles Chart.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
