“A stomping, commanding pour out ..a classic rock rock track with power and attitude.” – triple j
After performing to a cool 42,000 people at Suncorp Stadium, upcoming singer-songwriter Grace Amos has recently announced her new single BY THE GRACE OF GOD, a chugging, exhilarating track that sees Grace talking to herself, reminding herself to hold on to her own power even in the face of all-consuming love. BY THE GRACE OF GOD is out now, and precedes Grace’s highly anticipated debut EP, expected for release in early 2023.
Evocative of everything from the modern, angsty Dove Cameron and Demi Lovato’s latest record HOLY FVCK, to early 2000s punk pop, to Alanis Morrissette’s You Oughta Know, BY THE GRACE OF GOD is a song by an artist who clearly adores music that rips at its own seams and knows exactly how to pull at an audiences’ emotions in just the right way. Heavy, distorted guitars keep the rhythm while Grace’s vocal, stronger here than ever before, takes its rightful place centre-stage.

Produced by James K Lewis (Rudimental, OneFour, Meg Mac), the gritty track sees Grace reckoning with her own strength within relationships. Speaking on the inspiration behind the song, she says, “It’s mainly about looking back on previous relationships I’ve shared and how I always put in so much, without really getting the same in return. So I wrote this as a reminder to myself to know what I’m worth, to stop letting people “walk all over me”. I wrote this song for me.”
2022 has been a thrilling ride for Grace Amos. With hundreds of thousands of streams under her belt, she made her festival debut at Valleyways in September, alongside triple j faves The Rubens, Skeggs and Middle Kids. She played a killer set to a crowd of 42,000 people at Suncorp Stadium as part of the match entertainment during footy season. Anticipation is certainly high for Grace’s debut EP — giving fans a little hint of what’s to come, Grace shares what inspires her most, “I’m inspired by relationships. I love looking at how people interact with each other and how easy it is to have an impact on someone else’s life.”

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
