Christmas snows the Singles Chart under

Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You cements its claim as the ultimate Christmas track, enjoying a second week at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart and a fifth year at #1 during Christmas week. 

Four of the top 10 singles this week are Christmas songs, with Last Christmas by Wham! coming in at #3, Michael Bublé’s It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas at #5, 1958’s Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree by Brenda Lee at #7 and Santa Tell Me by Ariana Grande at #8. Bobby Helms’ 1957 single, Jingle Bell Rock, also sneaks into the top 20 at #14.

Over on the Albums Chart, Taylor Swift holds #1 again as Midnights goes platinum, while SZA holds #2 with SOS for a second week and Michael Bublé’s Christmas takes #3.
