Indie-rock band Lazy Ghost today surprised fans with the announcement of a massive Australian tour, kicking off in Perth and making 15 stops in major cities across the country. This tour is in support of their latest single ‘Summer is Here’. They will be bringing their good times, killer live show and summer-drenched tunes to multiple venues across WA, VIC, TAS, NSW and QLD.
In celebration of their recent single release, Lazy Ghost have an additional surprise, releasing the sunny music video for ‘Summer is Here’. Featuring a chaotic cocktail of pink goop, XXXX Gold, toy cars and dice, the video perfectly captures the band’s laid-back summery vibe.

“Without a doubt, the funnest time we’ve had in our lives. We spent a day out the back of Billinudgel in the Northern Rivers and drank a few beers and just did things we usually do in a day.” Kyle, Lazy Ghost.
The music video was filmed a lush hinterland just in-land from Byron Bay in The Middle Pocket, Northern Rivers. The music video was the result of creative collaboration between director Bradley Murnane (Bad Pony, Oh My My) and Director of Photography Billy Zammit (Peking Duk, Rufus Du Sol, Matt Corby).
Since returning from Canada to Australia in 2020 they’ve grown into one of Australia’s beloved bands. Building a reputation for soundtracking summer and touring the road at any chance, over the past year they’ve elevated their presence as a live act.
“The Australian Tour 2023 is going to be our biggest yet. Off the back of our newest release Summer Is Here. We’re going to hit places we’ve never heard of around the country.” Kyle, Lazy Ghost.
Fusing inspiration from the likes of Skeggs, Ocean Alley FIDLAR and alt-J, Lazy Ghost offer their own refined sound to the Aussie indie-rock genre. Often simple in structure but strong on good vibes, they have built a dedicated following in the years that they’ve been riffing. The laid-back Lazy Ghost, based on the cruisy coast of Byron Bay, taps into the carefree life of surfing, cold beers, great friends and even better times.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
