ARIA CHARTS

Harry is in the house

Tim Rogers makes a top 10 debut

Aria.

Harry Styles’ return to Australia has stormed the ARIA Charts this week as Harry’s House rockets back to #1, while Tim Rogers debuts with his first solo top 10.

This week marks the ninth non-consecutive week that Harry’s House has spent at #1 in Australia and its first time at #1 in more than six months. The album first hit the top on the week of 30 May 2022 and stayed there for three weeks. It then had a four-week run in July and the first week of August last year before snagging one more week on 22 August.

Styles’ Fine Line also lands at #5 and Harry Styles makes it to #12. As It Was holds firmly at #5 on the Singles Chart, while Late Night Talking creeps up 23 spots from #39 last week to #16 and Watermelon Sugar climbs from #50 to #23.

Debuting at #2 on the Albums Chart, Cracker Island is the eighth studio album from Damon Albarn’s beloved 2-D group Gorillaz, comprising Murdoc Niccals, Noodle and Russell Hobbs. The band achieved an Australian #1 with Plastic Beach after it hit the top spot on the Albums Chart in 2010.

You Am I front man Tim Rogers makes a solo debut with Tim Rogers and The Twin Set’s Tines of Stars Unfurled at #4, and Queen front man Adam Lambert debuts at #7 with High Drama.

Miley Cyrus’ Flowers spends its seventh week in a row at #1 on the Singles Chart, equaling the chart-topping run of Miley’s dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, in 1992 with Achy Breaky Heart.

The Weeknd’s 2016 cut, Die For You, lifted from his third studio LP Starboy roars from #41 last week to #3  this week after the Canadian-born star released a remix of the song with Ariana Grande last week.

Finally, Aussie house producer Dom Dollar makes a debut at #25 with Rhyme Dust in collaboration with American producer MK, his first appearance in the ARIA Singles top 50.
