Adelaide-based bedroom indie(an) pop artist TUSHAR has just released his much anticipated debut EP, ‘Arthur and Sadie,’ a six-track offering that’s sure to put an extra skip in your step. Alongside the release of the EP, is the new single ‘Exit Sign’, allowing fans to experience TUSHAR’S work in its entirety. Five of the tracks, including ‘Arthur,’ ‘In our own backyard,’ ‘Mondays,’ ‘July 20,’ and ‘Sadie, why don’t you love yourself,’ were released prior to today and have already become fan favourites.
Drawing influences from the likes of Gus Dapperton, Dayglow, and Two Door Cinema Club, TUSHAR’s distinctive sound is characterized by dreamy vocals, electric sounds, and relatable lyrics. Working alongside producer and friend Benny Tamblyn, TUSHAR crafted all six tracks in less than nine hours each, with the challenge in mind to test their creativity and turn emotional tracks into something that we can all dance to. The result is an easy listening, relatable EP filled with excitement, emotion, gratitude, and love, all mixed into an infectious bop. Praised for its catchy hooks and TUSHAR’s undeniable talent for crafting earworms.

“This song was written about that universal moment on a night out when you go to the bathroom alone and realise how drunk you really are. Shout out to all the adolescents out there; may you also be saved by an ‘Exit Sign’” said TUSHAR when discussing the new singles inspiration.

I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
