. . . . . . . . . . . My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences. Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”. Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook. Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere. This week’s
ARIA CHARTSMiley’s endless success
#1 album and #1 single, again
It’s all Miley this week, as the American superstar takes #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart for the first time in a decade and extends her run at the top of the Singles Chart.
Miley storms onto the chart, debuting at #1 with Endless Summer Vacation, her eighth studio album. Recorded in LA and produced with Kid Harpoon, Greg Kurstin, Mike WiLL Made-It and Tyler Johnson, Endless Summer Vacation is her sixth top five album and her third #1 album here following Breakout in 2008 and Bangerz in 2013. The album includes collaborations with Brandi Carlile and Sia.
The new album marks Miley third week in total at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart, as Breakout and Bangerz spent one week each on top. In the process, she bests her dad: Billy Ray Cyrus’ album Some Gave All spent two weeks at #1 in 1992 and he hasn’t returned to the summit since then.
Over on the ARIA Singles Chart, Miley’s Flowers holds at #1 for a ninth week, which is its entire chart run. The second single from Endless Summer Vacation– River – arrives at #22 and Miley lands another two tracks in the Top 100.
