In 2023, Melbourne’s THORNHILL aren’t merely dressing for sonic success; they’re dressed to kill, and they’ll be travelling in style this May and June for their Dressed To Kill Tour, set to visit 13 regional towns across Australia. Armed with their ARIA Award-nominated 2022 album Heroine, THORNHILL will also be joined by special guests YOUNG LIONS, INERTIA and TAPESTRY for this exciting run of shows.

Recently flexing their significantly polished wares on their sublime sophomore album Heroine last year, THORNHILL have continued their burgeoning reign as one of the most innovative and immersive heavy acts in the Australian scene. Simultaneously nodding to the past and a broadened future, Heroine embraced old-Hollywood glamour, lush arrangements and a polished blend of shimmering light and blistering shade that lingers long after a listen to the 11 tracks lying in wait. Scoring the group a coveted ARIA nomination in 2022, Heroine marks an alluring evolution from the group’s 2019 debut album The Dark Pool without sacrificing the THORNHILL trademark grit and glamour. Storming up the charts debuting at #3 on the ARIA Album chart, Heroine debuted at #1 on the Australian Album chart, and has had more than 8.5 million streams to date.

Rounding out a huge 2022 appearing at Good Things Festival with headliners Bring Me The Horizon and many more in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, THORNHILL also ticked off some of their biggest Australian shows to date last year, selling out most of their headline tour, supporting The Butterfly Effect nationally, and performing their first ever US headline shows on the east coast alongside supporting ERRA and Alpha Wolf on a North American run.

Amassing a heaving array of accolades over the years, including triple j’s Feature Album and additions to countless Best Of The Year listings, THORNHILL’s 2019 release The Dark Pool has currently generated over 32 million streams and 3 million YouTube views on its music videos, as well as nominations for Best International Breakthrough Artist at the 2020 Heavy Music Awards, and Best Independent Heavy Album/EP at the 2020 AIR Awards. Currently set to tour America with The Plot In You, Holding Absence and Banks Arcade ahead of returning home to Australia for their Dressed To Kill Tour, a live THORNHILL show is one you absolutely must not miss this year.

Rising from the ashes of former local projects, Brisbane’s YOUNG LIONS have spent the past few years leveling up their explosive and anthemic alt rock. Nodding to the likes of 2000s era 30 Seconds to Mars and Coldplay, the quartet kicked off 2023 with the release of their fourth full-length album Make a Rainbow and Put it in the Sky; a scintillating return for the group following a semi-hiatus, and a huge sign of things to come. With previous shows under their collective belts alongside Taking Back Sunday, Shihad, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Silverstein, The Dead Love and more, this year will see the group ferociously hit the road all around the country, including an album launch tour this June.

Hailing from Sydney, INERTIA’s soulful intensity alongside explosive riffage hit brand new heights in 2022 following the release of their latest EP MEMORIA. They have shared the stage with Void Of Vision, Holding Absence, Ocean Grove, Dream On, Dreamer and Story Of The Year. Melbourne-via-Darwin quintet TAPESTRY balance post hardcore sensibilities with otherworldly execution. Releasing a brand new single Never Felt The Same in 2020 following the release of their EP Ghost of Me in 2018, TAPESTRY recently supported Saosin in Melbourne, and have shared the stage with Northlane, Polaris, Hellions and The Plot In You.

Don’t miss your chance to catch THORNHILL and some of the country’s finest for a run of special regional shows this May and June. Tickets for the Dressed To Kill Tour won’t last long, don’t delay!
